I like free thought and independent thinking, tempered by healthy skepticism and rationalization. I'm a fan of anyone who can hear a ridiculous thought and try to analyse it, rather than rejecting it outright and insulting the thinker. I'm interested in the sciences, and the occult, and an occasional mixing of the 2. My specific field, as of late, has been Chronomancy. I find the relationships between time, space, and perception to be fascinating and I've tasked myself with finding the relationships between the 3 and manipulating them for my own end. I fully expect this to be a never ending pursuit.

I'm incredibly interested in police and military procedures, and I'm a freelance skip tracer and martial arts instructor. I'm an advocate of physical fitness, and a parkour/free running practitioner. I'm a vegetarian, not because of ethical concerns (although growth hormones scare me) but because I don't like the taste of meat.

I love reading. If you don't, don't bother friending me, because you probably won't understand me and I won't find you worth my time. I'm also a writer, both novels and poetry. I find the written and spoken word to be the most powerful tool at a human's disposal.

I'm a serious pyro. I *love* fire. I'm a pretty damn good cook, because of it, so I guess I've made friends with that beast. I do a mishmash of asian fusion, french fusion, italian, cajun, and southwestern tex/mex cooking.

My most important quality, and the one I seek out the most, is having an open mind and not judging others based on your own principles. I'm not christian, but I don't care if you are as long as you extend me the same courtesy. I'm a vegetarian, but you can eat whatever you care to. I'm an advocate of drug legalization, even though I'm not really someone you'd consider a drug user. I'm a libertarian, because I feel the government should feel the same as I do. I'm pro-life, for myself, but I will never question a woman's right to choose or vote against it or for anyone who's against it.

I think more people need an open mind. I think the first step to this is turning off the television and picking up a book written by someone they entirely disagree with.
